Snowpeak PP700SA take apart

Honestly this gun was pellet picky and the reg was inconsistent. The reg 'settled in' and works awesomely (not sure that is actually a word) and I bore pasted the barrel several times and now it's a sweet shooter. The barrel was really the issue and I got away with my tricks. It's a keeper and I shoot it daily.

Perfect starling wrecker with the Poly Mags. Now that I have A Taipan Vet Long .25 I've grown accustomed to blowing up rats rather than just killing them but the PP700 does the trick too.

People will do stupid stuff and you may be saving them by posting mods that work. Even the best instructions are not followed and you can't help that.

A big thanks for taking the time... +1 for you. Subscribed and bookmarked.

Made a video of taking apart the pp700sa not sure if it will help anyone out or not, but here it is. Let me know what you think thanks.

Thanks a million for this video!

I am someone who is on the lower end of handy, so I appreciate when someone takes the time to make these instructional videos.

Hi Nelson86m,

I also wanted to thank you for taking time to make and share this video with us all. As a new owner of the pp700, this is exactly what I have been searching for. It's fantastic ! And yes, it's extremely helpful.

I also liked that at the end of the video, you showed your order of replacement, high-quality o-rings for the pistol. That's on my "to-do" list shortly. I just have a quick question about your list, if you don't mind?

I have a guide to the various o-rings and where they go in the gun, but I see your list has two that aren't on mine.

The "1.5x13mm" ....are those the pair of brownish o-rings on the rear of the valve body? ( As seen @ 19:31 of your video ?)

And also the first one on your list "AS568-012 B70".......... where does that o-ring go ? ( I do have the schematic picture of the parts-list, if that helps you to answer.)

Once again, thanks very much for this. YouTube has a fair amount of similar videos in other languages, but your's is going to be a great reference for alot of us.

-Gerry.

When I get home I will look and see what orings those ones are. The ones I ordered are from the list over on the 700sa owners manual thread. If you need I can pm the link to you or if you have been on it pg 100 is the best page with links to each section of the thread. I have read that whole thread 3 or 4 times and has some great info on it but I'm more a visual learner so decided mabey the video would help others and am glad that it is helping others.

I have been going out hunting a bit with it this winter but was planning on taking it apart again and showing some of the mods I have done and how I did them. When I do that video I will include where each oring goes also and should of done so in the first video but didn't even think of it.

I just got home, the 1.5mm x 13 are for the valve and the 1.5mm x 12.5 are for the regulator housing i might have them backwards but think that's the right order. The as568-012 are an oversize breach o ring they are crazy tight though, if you have blow out problems around the breach that is a size that might help. I figured that aligning the valve and sanding it worked good and the oring fits better. I hope this help a little.

The valve and regulator sizes

The valve take 1- 1.5mm x 11mm and take 2- 1.5mm x 12.5mm

The regulator takes 1- 1.5mm x 5mm and 2- 1.5mm x 13mm
