Tuning PP700SA unable to hold air charge at 200 bar

Try degassing the gun completely then unscrew the cylinder clean the threads and screw it on tight then...

Try lessening the hammer spring tension (lower the power by a hair see if that helps any)

Air up the gun and Put a balloon at the end of the air cylinder and another over the barrel with rubber bands. It may be possible the check valve need cleaning due to dust or debris or possible leak at where it threads into the air cylinder housing.

This is a follow up to this thread. I discovered the actual cause of this strange leak. I discovered this by placing a 9 mm x 1.5 mm O ring at the base of item 33. Normally, there is not supposed to be one there. The seal is supposed to be provided by O ring # 34 (5 mm x 1.5 mm), but when the tank pressure exceeds 160 bar, it leaks. Adding that new O ring at the base of item #33, the leak stopped. I feel this is NOT a fix, it is simply an indicator that #34 leaks. I have changed #34 twice and the fault is still there. The problem is that the groove machined into #33 that hosts O ring #34 is too deep. I have ordered 10 new O rings that are 5 mm x 2.0 mm. I will replace #34 with this new slightly larger O ring when they arrive. I believe this will correct the fault. I will keep the forum informed as to the result ASAP.
