Pre -order ....What a joke.

I have spent my time on pre-order lists. Not one ever delivered at a reasonable time. The longer you wait the better the choices become . Times must be good for the manufacturer. I had a prominent airgun dealer hold my $25. deposit for a year. Never happened. Performance is on their part. Let them play their PRE-ORDER games by themselves.

Well, manufacturers and gun shops don't want to be stuck with unsold stock. Too risky!

However, in this crappy economy I don't think it's a good thing to trust? I will only pre-order "gotta haves" not WANTS!

I'm more of a cash for goods kinda guy, but... The only pre-order thing I've ever done was for a set of VA target grips. That was expected and 30 days later they came. So I can't say never, but I can say only under certain circumstances with certain people.

Ugh, I'm in a similar situation, though nowhere near as long waiting yet as some of you. I wish I would have seen this thread before I ordered. Their products are excellent, but it's frustrating being told in an email that something will be shipped in 1-2 days and then not hearing anything for...

I would only consider a pre-order from a large retailer like AOA or Piramyd. A small retailer could go tango uniform and then your money is gone.

Take like hw.. there pricing went way up , can't hardly keep there common everyday guns in stock and lots of that pre-order to get on .

!!BUT!!

They can make higher priced novelty guns like them anniversary models or them walnut stock guns .

So with that I see it's not a manufacturing issue it's planed .

You'd think you'd get your bread and butter guns out in the market before you go making a load of more expensive stuff I'm not buying .. heck I'm not buying the inflated everyday guns ..lol

The one time in my life I've ever done anything like this was for the GK1 v3 in .25, $100 to hold a spot in the next shipment. That worked out. Might as well quit while I'm ahead i guess

One of the guns I pre ordered was the 1st gen Impact when AOA was selling them. It was like 3 months if I recall but in the end worth it to me.
