HW/Weihrauch Pre-owned springers at AoA

Thank you all for snapping up those irresistible deals at the pre-owned aoa site. I'm usually lurking around those pages, I guess I'm addicted. With so many springers showing up i was breaking out with the shakes and cold sweats. Phew... survived that one.
There's still that Diana 48 for $295. Hell of a deal. Cheap scope, no front sight and in .177 though.

There's also that Hatsan 130 for $100. Those are fun guns and the rams are supposed to be rebuildable.

I went small and grabbed the first Daisy/Avanti that was listed. Typical AoA packaging, capable of surviving an apocalypse, and received across the county in just four days!

I will say this is the first time I’ve been disappointed by their condition rating. I would rate fair to good versus their “very good”. I was really looking for a shooter, not a showpiece, but still a bit of a letdown. Hoping to get rounds on target later this weekend, and also hoping others fair better. Wondering if AoA was a little more generous with their ratings to get through them faster.

This is an airgun forum
Yeah, and American made airguns like Airforce, American Air Arms, Western Airguns, etc... are a long way away from being low end crap. The whole point of this thread is pretty much that the bucket of Chinese made guns over at AOA is a turd in a punch bowl. And that was the state of Chinese airguns 3 decades ago. These days most of the airguns China produces have become pretty competitive. I've got 3 Hubens and they are in the same league quality and design wise as the Americans, Brits, Germans or the Czechs.

Good to know?

Interesting, I bought a Daisy 853, so there must have been two? If so what was the rating on mine? The add disappeared when I put it in my cart.

That pile of Chinese airguns had what looked like an xsB3 under the pile which in today's world can sell up to $300 alone. Kind of wish I moved on that offer before it sold, lots of fun projects in that pile.
Yep, I noticed that and I'd like to acquire one some day....for around $50-$60 and without having to resell 19 B3's.

There are three models of those old school Chinese airguns that I'd like to get, but paying $300+ for crudely made, used, low end guns is nuts.
