I know this is a clone of the Walther LP 53 but wondering if it is any good? Considering picking up a used one in decent condition.

They are just as good, albeit cosmetically rough around the edges given the Soviet era production methods. Most need resealing, and given the design, are a bit hard to cock.

Many shooters do not realise that Predoms and LP53s have perfect pistol parameters.
Cylinders at 23 dia x 50mm is more volume than the Webley Tempest/ Premier but with a TP half the length and no 90 degree bend. In otherwords very efficient compared to very inefficient.
Throw in microgroove rifling and superior trigger (in the case of the LP53) and its difficult to beat..
However, all that was wrecked by the 1950 s idea of duel springing. By tuning out this aspect to a single mainspring and correct guiding we get top performance, pretty much outgunning any springer pistol.
Always thought them a bit let down by the sights ….should have been .22 target style on the rear of the receiver, but im working on that.
