Tuning Pressure gauge replacement help

I'm replacing the oem bottle pressure gauge on my FX wildcat with a wika guage. The wika gauge came with a couple of different sized orings. When I removed the old gauge, there are no o-rings.

Do I need to install an o-ring or not?

Also, when tightening up the new gauge, do I just hand tighten until snug?

if it fits the same you can just direct replace it im sure .. alot of times theyre giving you options to index it with various orings ..and i always go as light on seating as necessary, usually takes me alittle experimenting and wasting air getting things set up perfect .. when i got the presser already out filling tanks is a good time ..

There likely is a harder plastic-ish washer in the bottom, it's really tough see and to remove. Although an O-Ring will work, I would opt for an 'X'-Ring as the seating surface is much greater. O-Rings and More should have them in stock I believe.

I replaced the regulator pressure gauge on my Wildcat MK III BT using a 28mm Wika gauge and found the same thing. I simply screwed it in as a 1 to 1 replacement for the existing gauge, i.e. without using the o-rings that came with the Wika. It worked (and still works) fine.
