The thickness of the washer will allow you to "time" the gauge, it would be a crap shoot for the o ring.So the delrin washer goes in the hole ?....will an o-ring work ?

Since I have 50 of them, I wasn’t afraid to tryFor gauges that seal to the bottom of a counterbored threaded hole, a common O-ring or an X-ring works fine, and provides some latitude to clock the dial to a preferred orientation.
