Prices on the new DNT TNC335R and TNC635R speculations?

Anyone have speculations in the prices of the upcoming DNT TNC335R and TNC635R? Looking at the currently available TNC225R and considering the pricing differences from other manufacturers that also have 256, 384, and 640 units, I think the TNC335R might retail for around $1,600 and the TNC635R around $2,000. Does that make sense to you? I believe my pricing estimates are conservative since with other companies' units, the 384 is usually twice the price of the 256 and the 640 is usually more than $1,000 more on top of that. But they did say the units will be priced very competitively.

Some of the other thermal manfactures are offering 3 year warranty..So that is a consideration also

I think if anything, the 384 may be $1800-$2000 white the 640 being closer to the $2300-$2500

HI all,
CameraLand in NY has some pre-order pricing up on their site. The link below is for the 335R. $2000. The 635R is $3000.
I'm hoping that when DNT actually starts selling these units, they discount the MSRP prices like all their other units AND offer the usual %10 discount. Fingers crossed! I'm also waiting to see what an upgraded 225R looks like.

The 335 and 635 Thermnight scopes are now on the DNT Optics website. They can be ordered for $2000 and $2775 respectively, AND you can get 10% off those prices. 3-4 week lead time for the 335; 2-3 weeks for the 635.
I will be adding my first look at the 335R soon on here.

That works… in theory. I found it much tougher in reality with the 3x base on the thermal.

I suppose that’s getting a little picky on a $1k unit, but I’d gladly give up a little on the top end, for a base 2x on the thermal.
I great new feature on the 335R is thermal lock so you have the option to lock the thermal in main screen and PIP you can choose 2.5x or 1x while in PIP for wider FOV while PIP is active. It says 3x but it's really 2.5x this was pre production

Why not simply go 1.5x across the board?
Simple answer to this question. The base magnification for the thermal band is governed by the sensor size (number of pixels). Lowering the base magnification increases the field of view, which results in a less detailed/pixelated image for a given sensor size. If DNT gave the 225r model a 1.5x base mag the resulting image on the thermal band would be so pixelated that the user would have a hard time recognizing any shapes through its feed.
