Noticed on the priest this morning that the cocking bolt is galling in the faceplate channel anyone experienced this or know or a "fix" for it

If this is the area you’re talking about, I just always kept mine lubed when I had this action block on my gun. I knew the bolt was going to wear at the anodization so I was proactive. This block was 2 years old when I took it off and had no galling.

Yes that's the part. Mine seems to be digging in a fair bit for a rifle fired less than 1 tin of pellets. I wonder if I lived it it would help or get the contact surfaces polished it would help.
