Primos Trigger Stick Apex Carbon Fiber Tripod With Magnaswitch

I found this while looking up some RRS gear.
Primos Apex Carbon Fiber Trigger Stick Tripod. Looks like there’s a clamping saddle for this as well. Extends close to 6’. Any members used this setup yet?

Trigger Stick Apex Gun Clamp (saddle)

looks like you can tripod your gun.. all you need is a scope with a cam and screen and then somehow put a remote trigger on it.. if the tripod was just micrometer adjustment, you could beat us all in target shooting..
aside from the funny thought about tripod mount gun, I have seen a few guys on YouTube and it appears they have a tripod with some kind of clamp or vise on top..
would be interested to see how well they work.

I have Primos mono, bi and tripod models. I use them with the supplied yoke.
I suppose the clamp on a tripod is OK at the range when you have all the time in the world to adjust everything to your target. And don’t get me wrong, I think they are really cool. I may end up some day with a Hog Saddle and their carbon fiber tripod, but not for the hunting I do.
I pest hunt at maple syrup farms. Sometimes I hunt from a seat that I hang on a tree, sometimes on the ground and sometimes from a turkey chair. Depending on the chair I’ll use one of the four Triggersticks I have. The beauty of Triggersticks is if I’m aiming at something on the ground I pull the triggerstick trigger and instantly adjust to proper level. If a tree shot, samething, adjust,,aim, shoot. I don’t need a camp on my rifle to slow things down. Chipmunks and squirrels are constantly fidgiting and give very short opportunities for a clean head shot. I really prefer the yoke and Triggerstick instant adjustability. It serves me well.
