Tuning pro sport .22 making noise

Well what I did was pull it all apart and made a new spring guide that was a lot tighter in the spring and just a couple of thou. clearance on the piston guide and made it a tight fit in the trigger housing.

Put it all back together and no noise or click at all, fired a 100 pellets through it and still no click, and it is a lot quieter than before no twang and it is putting one ragged hole groups at 30 yds in my under ground range. I am a happy camper. Steve!

I have found that a proper fitting guide and top-hat is all a lot of guns need as opposed to spending a hundred or so on a full tune kit. I shoot TX200 rifles almost exclusively and I have maybe 8 - 10 guides and 12-15 top-hats. Usually one of the guides and top-hats end up being a good friction fit with the spring. I clean all the parts, lube very sparingly with Krytox and put it back together. No vibration and no buzz.
