Tuning Problem - Hatsan AT44 Regulator Install

This is my first submission and am new to the forum.

With the cost of ammunition I have recently started shooting air rifles and find it to be more changeling than standard firearms.

My first purchase was a Hatsan ATt44 Tactical with extra air tube.

I purchased the Hatsan regulator and found the fit extremely tight and found not much difference and don't believe it is working.

My question is: By removing the extremely tight fitting regulator, will this weaken the tube and make it unusable for re-charging?

Unless you installed it with a hammer, I can’t fathom it having any negative impact to the air tube.

Regarding the regulator not working, did you remove the O-ring at the end of the valve assembly? The regulator requires an atmospheric reference to function correctly.
