Hello everyone,
I purchased a new Reximex RP pistol/carbine from Huma-Air and the gun has a serious defect. The Fill Probe is very difficult to insert into the Fill Hole and I have damaged two O-Rings on the Probe so far. I sent an email to Huma-Air and received a reply stating there may be a burr in the hole that is causing the damage and they also recommended that I try a smaller O-Ring on the Probe. I looked in the hole with a high powered magnifying loop and cannot see any damage. Early this morning ( 11:am UK time ) I sent a second email to Huma-Air requesting further assistance and received no reply. I sent a third request at 2pm UK time and have not received any reply. It’s a damn shame that some companies will take your money and just ignore you when you request for any support.
After multiple attempts to contact Huma-Air's service team and received NO response I have given up and added them to my "Black List". In my opinion Huma-Air is a disgrace to the airgun community.
EDIT: 06/27/2024 Just an update to be completely fair to Huma-Air. They have communicated with me in an effort to resole the Fill Probe problem. I will post more information later.
EDIT: 07/19/2024 Marc at Huma-Air sent me another Fill Probe that was machined for a better fit and it worked OK. However now that I could fill the cylinder it turned out that the Gun had a leak and would not hold air as designed. Now I must say that Huma-Air "maned up" and asked me to return the gun and supplied the return shipping label with no hesitation. I am completely satisfied with the overall experience that I have now had with Huma-Air.
Thank you in advance,
ThomasT
