Problem/Yong Heng and the Gold Filters ? Solved

Hi AGN, ,I finaly got my YH compressor set-up. I have the set-up as ( compressor to gold filter with cotton filler, to line with filter (that came with the compressor,and probe. The compressor shuts off before it's even close to filling up to 200 bar. When I bypass the the gold filter it works fine.Your thoughts?

Are you seeing that 200bars on the YH gauge or on the gun? wondering if the filter have a clog of sorts?

the gauge on rifle never moved, the 1 on the pump did,quit quickly too.

As @Dansker mention, my bet is there is a clog

HeyU, When you installed the hose and fittings on the Gold filter, did you use white delrin donuts on the inside of them ? If so, you may have tightened the fittings too much. When that happens, the delrin deforms and the air path becomes restricted. If they are compressed enough, you can almost totally restrict air passage. I would check these first.

Skeptic,good tip, but I did'nt put any delrin gaskets in it. Should I have?lol. Anyways,I found the problem and fixed it.The foster fitting had not been completely drilled thru. I'm sure the drill bit broke when it was being machined. I use to do this exact kind of work, when this happens it can be hard to sort out every1 of the few bad 1s out amongst the half a bucket of parts already ran. Thx every1 for your input
