RAW Rapid Problems with new magzines for HM1000x

Hi,
I recently ordered a new .22 cal magazine for my HM1000x directly from Rapid Air Worx. When I received it, I realized that 1: it was a new design. No more see-thru window, and no more spring-loaded plunger to lock the top rotating plate in place. 2: I couldn't rotate the "rotating plate" no matter how hard I pressed it. I tried to press it against my shooting stand, but couldn't budge it. I called customer support and asked for a replacement, and one was sent quickly. The new one isn't any better. The bump which replaced the spring loaded plunger seems to be too high, effectively locking the top plate in place.

Anybody else have the same problem/ Any suggestions?

I’ve got 2 of the new designed magazines for my Raw and they both work fine. They’re both left hand deep ones that are all black plastic. The last new one I received was a little sticky but a slight lift up where the nub is and the top plate rotates freely.

I prefer the CARM magazine for RAW. With heavy use it might not be as durable, but mine has been perfect for a couple of years.

I ordered 3 magazines for my .22cal RAW. I was supposed to receive the old designs from PA, but they sent me the new designs. They just didn't seem as nice as the old design to me, so I returned them without even using them. I've looked all over for the old design but couldn't find them

Have you contacted Martin @ Airguns-USA, he might have some older versions still.

Well, I found a fix for the new version of the .22 caliber magazines from RAW that fit my HM1000x.

1. Lift up the magazine approximately 1" from the surface on which you are working.
2. Slide the magazine into the container you keep for "Things I might want to use some day."
3. Replace magazine with one from QDFox.
4. Problem solved. If you buy two, you get a coupon for a free magazine with your next order. That means you end up with 5 magazines for the price of one RAW magazine.

Yea I just ordered 2 of them and they are way better than the originals. One that I recently bought from Utah air has already broken. I sent it back to raw and they are repairing it.

Have you contacted Martin @ Airguns-USA, he might have some older versions still.

Sorry, I missed your response! I did check with Martin at the time and he didn't have any.

I just ordered 2 versions of the older 15mm versions that QDFox resized for me to print! They will arrive soon .
