Benjamin PRod needs help

Good morning ,
I own a 2 yr old p rod that is totally stock .
I just noticed recently that a short blast of air is coming from the rear of the reservoir tube through the adjustment hole . Not a heavy blast but consistent light puff .
Is this normal or does it need some work ?
With 14.3 at 2700 psi it shoots in the 680s

I’d be more inclined to think that any leak during the shot cycle would be coming from the barrel o-ring or transfer port seal.
Try laying a tissue over the loading area (no clip) and dry fire your PRod. If the tissue lifts off the receiver I’d replace the barrel O-ring, if it just kind of grows wings one or both sides of the receiver, transfer port seal.

A small amount of air coming out of the adjuster hole may just be from the hammer pushing air when it Flys forward to strike the valve. My Marauder rifle does this.

I tried the tissue test no movement at all , only getting air out of the adjustment hole in the rear of the tube .
I kind of think its the hammer strike thing , might be alot about nothing .

I got hold of Benjamin , their tech said that is how it works with the marauder platform guns . Thanks Ray

It's normal for air to exit from the adjustment hole.

The hammer has vent holes and exhaust out the rear adjustment hole.
