Prod pistol mod

I am thinking about a prod pistol (only comes in .22 ) but i want to change it to .177 . Will this be a major project ? A few years ago i did a complete mod on my 1377 , new breach , long barrel ,larger port peep sights front and rear and stock . Crazy fun gun and kids can pump 3x and shoot 10 meters easy .

There is a thread on GTA about doing this. That one took barrel machine work and some fitting to get a .177 cal magazine. Have you considered the Crosman 1701P, already .177 cal, pop, bolt action and ~50 shots a fill.

machine work Hmmmm maybe ill just buy .22 pellets , i was hopeing for just parts swap . looking for a higher power , maybe 600 fps

My bone stock prod averages 672 fps. over 3 magazines you should be able to get 600 fps. Maybe over 4 or more magazines

You should have no problem getting your Prod over 600 fps in .22. If so you have an issue somewhere.

I own a stock prod for some time, add a Hill .105 transfer port, it work great with no issue.
