Prod with DonnyFL Sumo question

Would the DonnyFL Shogun for sure be overkill for the P-Rod, then? Or would it still further silence the shot? Trying to get it as silent as it gets. 

Also, any thoughts as to why DonnyFL's Koi isn't recommended over the Sumo? Wouldn't the Koi not have to be removed to fill?

I personally wouldn't want a moderator that can only be used on one gun. There aren't many other guns that accept the same male threads as the prod.
