RTI Prophet 2 Performance leaks

I have a prophet 2 performance 6. 35 cal with 600mm barrel.

I had the protruding pin seal of the reg blew up. I dismantled the reg and changed all the o-rings. When I filled it up, the reg adjustment screw was too loose and air was leaking from the screw.

I screwed in the rag adjustment screw, filled the gun and slowly turned out the screw until air passed thru the reg into the gun.

Air leaked thru the barrel. I degassed the gun and screwed the reg adjustment screw back in. Then I dismantled the gun and inspected the valve components. They looked ok to me. But I changed the o-rings anyway.

I went back to released the reg adjustment screw slowly and air still leaked thru the barrel.

I was told that it's possible that the valve housing had cracked. But the valve and the housing looked prestine to me. Not even a scratch.

I can't figure out what went wrong. The gun was performing well at 160 bar before.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'll try to fill in the gun while it leaking from the barrel. I'll fire some dry shots to see if it fixes the problem. If not, I'll get a new poppet.

Try cocking the gun, then filling it. I’ve had my P1 do that when filling from empty, cock the gun and let the poppet seat. If no good, as Vetmx says, replace the valve.
@Vetmx to get the poppet, do you get it from rti directly? Did they charge you for it?
