What would the pros and cons be of decreasing the hammer weight? ( just a little bit, nothing crazy) more shots? more accurate? gun functions better?

If it's a small change...probably not much.
The hammer weight essentially controls valve duration. A lighter hammer will require more spring force to do the same work because you will have to utilize more lift to increase duration and make the same power...instead of momentum.

I suppose that if you had a desire for reduced regulator pressure, maybe for a low power tune, and you find that your lowest hammer spring setting is still too much, then maybe a lighter weight hammer would be a benefit.
