Just curious about the life span on these o-ring breech seals for the prosport. I don't know, but would assume, the TX200 has the same 2 ring set up. I have read of some having issues with the top o-ring being sliced or chewed up somewhat?
Is this more so on the TX200, or do the prosports
have similar issues?
So far with mine I have a couple of tins through it and I haven't seen any issues yet.
With my 97K and 77K I use a thin delrin spacer to put between the compression tube and the back of the breech (not where the pellet goes in),to keep pressure off of the breech seal when they're stored in the safe. This seems to work well from keeping the seals from being flattened out over time.
I bought several spare 97/77 breech seals long ago before the price on them went way up. There was a place in Canada, Specialty Shooting Sports
I think it was. They had the 97 seals for like $4 which was the cheapest I've ever seen, they're out of business now.
