PRS light! With AGT Vixen Long

Due to the fact that in Holland there is not a lot of space and lead is not alowed to return to nature.. we are starting a form of PRS light! From 50 up to 100 meters and airrifle only! The other variant is air and 22LR mixed but mainly indoors at shooting ranges!

Next to my verry crap out of the box Panthera! i bought a AGT Vixen and tuned it to shoot with 18 grain pellets at 36 ftp of energy.
I also made some unnessecery changes, like a carbon tube over the barrel, a airsoft handguard and arka rail for the goodies!
I would like to ad a bottle stock but that stuf is made of gold plastic!!! It’s cheaper in the states but then shipping is two times the ptice of the stock?

I've thought about doing a PRS lite match. My idea is to use the NRL22 course of fire scaled down to 60 yards max with smaller targets with 20 foot pound max air rifles. So people could bring their field target guns and try out the PRS style of shooting.

So what’s going on with the Panthera ?

Pfff trigger out of the box was total crap!! Regulator didn’t work, cocking lever was wobbely, barrel liner wasn’t secure hens the bad groups! And most off the screws were loose!! Then after a glorious 200 shots the cocking knob came loose!!

So all in all not to shabby!

Thanks to my own knowledge i fixed it all.. but what a poorly built new gun for almost 2000 euro’s!
I like it now! But i liked the Vixen better straight out off the box!!
And only half the price! ..

So now i bought the vixen… and the only gripe i had was the bag .. handels to long!… but then again, you can weare those over your shoulders.. lol.. i did put two rings between the action and the moderator.. so any flex would be eliminated!

PRS/NRL wise we are going to go up to 100 meters depending on wind and predometley for .22 pellet pcp’s
Others are allready doing combo’s of .22LR and slug pcp’s indoors.
This is our venue!

And it is going to be a family thing with my son, daughter and me.. my son prefers the RTI Priest ll because he is a lefty and prefers the lever in the left side!

In Holland we are somewhat limited!
We are lucky to be able to shoot up to 150 meters, and another place soot up to 175 meters..

But others have to make due with 50 meters.. so to keep things interesting and safe we limit it for now to 50 joules and pellets only.

But none the less a lot of enthousiastic people!

This year the start of some matches and hopefully at the end of the year a National!

There is a place where they can host a lot of shooters for this!

So far we get a bit of help from sponsors with small goodies, and if we can show that it’s taking off then there is more to come!

But a lot of fun!

The canisters and metal crate thingies are to catch the lead, because it’s a big no no too leave that in mother nature here!.

The Priestll is now equipped with a .22 BSA barrel! Mij 13 year old son wants to shoot the 18 grain pellets..

So next week we will see how it performs.

RTI makes some nice mag’s that can “flip” over from side to side, so you can switch from strong to weak hand by just pushing the mag from one side to the other!
