Excellent. Go represent. You need an AGN shirt.PRS rimfire has an airgun division. There's 3 of us shooting this weekend.

Congratulations! What were their reactions when you placed 9th?I'm trying to find the actual rules now... But briefly I believe, for the airgun division it's top 3 or 5 from each Region get invites to Nationals.
Now... I was the only airgun in the Great Lakes region. For which my squad at the Regional finale took endless pleasure in reminding me to pick up my "participation trophy".
So I felt pretty good when I came in 9th overall out of 46 shooters I'm hoping to be in the top 50 at Nationals, but that might be a bit ambitious.

Same in central division ! Seems like you start talking 2-400 yard targets and everyone shy's away ? If we can't get more shooters involved I can't see them continuing our class ! I would hate for it to die due to lack of interest. Heck I'm old ,fat, and on a bum knee after regional's but I am up here to have fun!!I'm trying to find the actual rules now... Unfortunately I had to leave before the awards (a buddy grabbed mine), but I don't think they announce placement like that anyway, it's usually by division. I didn't know until the full match scores were posted.Congratulations! What were their reactions when you placed 9th?
I've got a buddy who shoots air in NRL22 but I couldn't get him to shoot the PRS matches this year. It's definitely a time commitment. Maybe next year. I agree about the participation. The big air sponsors don't really care about NRL or PRS at the moment.Same in central division ! Seems like you start talking 2-400 yard targets and everyone shy's away ? I have no doubts you younger guys are going to beat me but I will let you see the " old guy " did show up .
How does this compare to NRL-22? I.e., what are the differences?I could pull out the match book... actually gimme a sec while I do that...
There were 2 stages that had targets at 294. I went maybe 50% on those. I'd say the majority of targets for the whole match were between 115 and 185 yds.
One of the bigger challenges was the temp change through the day... from ~40 degrees in the morning, up to ~75 in the afternoon.
PRS match distances and stage setup can be whatever the MD decides to do. Nrl22 has 5 stages a month that are required nationally at local nrl22 clubs. Those are at about 100yd max distance. Now it's up to the MD to add stages and he/she can do them how they wish. There are differences in what calibers in the air rifle division can use slugs and can't. Could be some others. I usually shoot 22lr in the matches. Here in OK PRS is dominate. I think there is one nrl22 match here a month. Usually 3 or more a month of prsHow does this compare to NRL-22?
