We had a good turnout for our first indoor FT match for the 2022-2023 winter season. It is good to see most of the competitors took the opportunity to shoot the course from the standing position. Also, it is fun to pull out the antique or other guns that may not be well adapted or tuned for the outdoor game and give it a try on the indoor targets. There was a vintage Walther LGU, someone shooting open sights on an HW55, and the budget PCP Snowpeak PR900w (basically the same thing as a Diana Stormrider.) No one chose to give the course a try with a pistol, but it would have been within the legal difficulty if shooting from sitting.
For the standing position, the course difficulty was a 26.3. The hardest target was a 3/4 inch KZ at 17yds. The individual target difficulties were between 14.0 and 39.7. There were 3 targets with greater than a 30 difficulty.
Scores are of a possible 20. Ties were not broken, enjoy your shared glory.
