Pumpers, pain and new age quackery

I thank the "Guy Upstairs" everyday for being Med Free at 67. No Medicines to worry about. I feel very lucky, because things could change overnight.

rcs9250 So glad ya pulled through!

I am 64 and take no meds either. I thank god every day for the blessing. I see the litany of drugs my friends take and the health challenges they face and know that I am very very fortunate.
Glad to hear the OP is doing well.

I have taken some of the neurological drugs in the past and while they provide some physical symptoms relief, they all come with some very unwelcome side effects. No interest in traditional pain management medication. I gather most of my issues are just something I live with, or wait for them to decide it's worth risking surgery. Surgery generally is a another form of comprimise and almost never 100% effective.

I always tell people when you turn 60 there is a pain that lives inside you. It just decides where it will be when you wake up. Could be back, knees, arms etc.
LOL, you're so right. I'm 64 and compared to most, I'm in great shape. My doctor says I have great genes. Both my dad and mom are 85, and my dad walks three miles a day. My only problems are my hands and some carpal tunnel from lots of fights when I was young.

When I tried a scope on my 397, I'd get that elbow pain. For me, it came down to how I had to hold the gun to pump it while a scope was mounted. Took the scope off and went back to my usual pumping hold and things cleared up in a couple of days. I'm in my late 50s and I've beaten the heck outta my body, mostly in motorcycle wrecks and martial arts. It ain't the age, it's the mileage.

I wake up everyday with my hands numb and burning from carpal tunnel. It goes away after I loosen up, but comes and goes in my left hand depending on activities I'm doing. Years of wrenching and now turning wire nuts as an electrician have thrashed my wrists.

Oh well, I give it my all everyday until one day God says I've done enough.
Get it fixed , it is well worth it .

I tried a few rounds at 8 pumps tonight with the 392, some improvement. Whether I can attribute that to this gizmo entirely or not is out for debate. I have taken some time off from the pumper guns, and rest may be a factor as well. Dull ache, but no sharp pain which is exciting anyway. As good as this gun shoots I am gonna find a way to keep putting it to work.
