Umarex Purchased a Zelos looking for mods

I have seen the other posts but a bit confused. I would love to find the cheapest most effective mod to quit it down if that’s baffles or any type of moderator and you have a product please post it here. Also mags. I would like to upgrade to a bottle but I’m not going to bother if I can’t find a 4500 regulator/adapter. If I am missing something please let me know. I have been shooting at about 2500 at 905 with 25.39gr and get about exactly a mag worth out and it’s time too fill. It’s worth it for how accurate it is. First PCP gun and Love it! 75yrd on the target smashing the red

Tango Sierra is a member here, he makes the moderator insert as well as pellet and dedicated slug magazines.

The adapter is not the bottleneck, the regulator is limited to 3625psi on the pressure side.

The easy solution is to add a pre-regulator for the bottle to allow for the full 4500psi pressure on the pre-regulator and pass the 3625psi on to the gun.

Can you show me what a pre-regulator looks like i could not find a part for that when i was looking for one

The gun is only rated for 250 bar so I wouldn't fill it to 300 bar even with a pre regulator. It probably won't break it but air at this pressure is not something to take chances with. I also do not fill my 300 bar rated guns to 300 either. It is not a safety concern in that case it just isn't practical. I fill from a bottle I refill to 300 bar but the air is warm at that point and will fall to 280 or 290 when it cools. Releasing air into a gun drops it further. I can fill my guns once or twice a little over 250 but it seems more practical to just standardize on 250 (except for the little Prod which only goes to 3000psi). I don't understand why doubling or tripling your shot count with a 425cc or bigger bottle isn't great.

I also wonder if your tune isn't wasting some air. One magazine seems low.

Jim, it doesn't sound like you understand what a pre-regulator is? The gun only sees 3000psi, the air is regulated down at the bottle, before it gets to the adapter. The gun sees 200 bar.

If no part of the gun ever sees >250 bar then it isn't unsafe. But I still do not see the practicality of pushing the bottle forward to add very little to the bottle pressure, assuming you do not fill from a compressor exclusively. 250 bar works fine.
It’s more just of the fact that you have the gun tuned for long range and maxing out the gun to mot efficient accuracy and at the same time being able to double triple your shot count can be worth it. If your going to spend all the money to upgrade to a tank of 500cc then 4500 is actually a significant step up in the amount it can feed to the gun and it’s only going to get more accurate loads with the regulator at the bottle

Yes, 250 works fine but that was not the question. He has an over-gassed gun and he was looking for a heavy fill.

I believe the thread on the gun, the silver piece, is m16x1.5.
that means on the m60b as well, right?
good to know, i had asked this before - when i was trying to figure out what to do with the 'no-fill-port bottle adapter' situation, i had earlier.
