Just had this thought - what if you put desiccant directly into a large fill tank? Would this help with absorbing any residual air that gets through the from the compressor?

NOT a good idea to put ANY foreign objects in tanks. Someone else proposed that a few weeks ago.

A proper compressor will adhere to the EN12021 standard and pump no moisture into your tank.
Even if it did then what would you do when the desiccant get saturated? And how would you tell?
