Looking today at the Pyramid Air site, I noticed the estimated date of delivery for my ordered Avenge-X has been changed from Oct, 23 to Dec, 20th. Does anyone have an explanation for this additional delay? This rifle has been on Back Order since June and my hope is there are no quality control issues within the manufacturing process.

Product delays by manufacturers is usually a guarantee sorry to say, especially with new PCP's...usually 2-3 months later than scheduled...

In the same boat as you (ordered on June 7 through PA). I got the 177 tactical tube... The synthetic and wood seem to be somewhat readily available but the tactical seems to be a different story. What config did you order?

Just checked to see if mine shipped, now shows 12/20. Bummer. Now contemplating if this is a sign telling me I should just cancel and order an FX Maverick instead like I was originally planning to get.

I guess it where you draw the line. The fx is going to be a much better smoother shooting experience for sure. When you get to that level you might as well go M3 in my opinion. The superior tuning system on it is worth the dough to me.

Yeah, the M3 and the Dynamic Express 700 were both also being considered. I really like the Dynamic looks and specs A LOT, but it's quite an investment. Going to hold off on making a rash decision and see if anything changes on ship date in the next week or two and go from there.

If you are looking at an M3 look at a BRK ghost. They are showing how solid they are. They aren't as fiddly as the M3. They have 14 orings vs 68 of the M3. Its a great out of the box rifle.

Dang only 14? I’ve really been thinking about moving a cpl things along and trying one. They seem flat out awesome from all the vids I’ve watched.

It's not an additional delay. The date moving out is a result of the number of guns arriving being eclipsed by the number of pre-orders. The first shipment arrived in early September, same situation. If you ordered back in June, I would think this shipment that just arrived (should start shipping today/tomorrow) will take care of your back-order.

They are. Time and time again they show to be solid shooters out of the box. Its a simplistic yet solid design. Theyve been used in more and more events and showing well.
Basically they are a mechanical alpha wolf. I need to get the glass on mine and get some rounds through it.

I was going to get a AvengeX but I decided to go with the Maverick for my first PCP last month. This way I didn’t have to play the accuracy lottery, I know it will shoot out of the box.

I too ordered the Avenge X 25 cal with bottle on the first day it was available for pre-order. Jne 6th to be exact. They kept changing in stock dates almost every month since then. I was told conflicting info as to why or whether my order was affected. Finally I had enough and emailed Pyramid after I saw the guns was being sold online and my order since June unfullfilled without notice. I emailed Pyramid Air and got multiple responses from staff and finally a manager who was sincere in his apologee for the misinformation and understood my frustration for the most anticipated PCP of 2023! This was around Sept 27th by Oct 03,2023 I finally had my Avenge X 25 Cal Tact version. Needless to say I found the tube version at UTAH Air and was shipped very quickly. I realized the bottle version wasn't to be had right away so I settled for the tube version and decided that later as the upgrade kits show up in inventory I will get it then. I did not regret the decision. This rifle is the phenonimal! Do what I did! End the frustration. Cancel your order (gets their attention) and get it from available vendors. I got mine from Utah Air but you can find it at several other vendors as well.

Should be more towards the end of the year. Lots of pre-orders on them though so I wouldn’t say you’ll see them online as “in stock” when the next shipment arrives.

I have text from Pyramid Air dated 10.20.23 "Hey Jose thank you for reaching out to us". Air Venturi has given us a date when they will send out the upgrade kits. (stop)
But that was it since. No projections. I did not follow up. I will be monitoring as well. I ordered the 25 Cal tact version with bottle. With so many backorders being pushed back and emailing Pyramid air End of Sept I finally cancelled the order and bought from Utah Air in tube. No regrets. I can wait for the kit. I did not like my order going unfulfilled all of this time only to see it being sold online weeks earlier but just in tube format. I still like doing business with Pyramid and like their products. It was the mis formation from staff that really had me wound up until a mgr. reached out and cleared things up. First time very disappointed. But got over it once I got mine from another source. haha
