Pyramid air?

Geez the new pyramid air catalog in the mail is pretty skimpy? Looks like they arent selling alot of what they used to and going more into the hunting trade. Which i dont hate but liked looking at all the guns that where available out there..now theres like 10 in their catalog total
fortunately they still have a lot online, but the new catalog is worrying that they might not be selling them soon..id pay for a paper catalog over a free online one.. I still use the msc double catalog over the Internet and I turned down their CD catalog, fortunately I can look in my catalog and the customer service is usually able to find the current part number and price.. usually online I find everything I am not looking for.

Looking at it from a business standpoint, that had to be expensive and probably wasn’t worth it. With everyone cutting costs, it seems like a no brainer. Those things are sent to sell product and if they are just looked at for fun and aren’t generating sales, it feels like an easy decision to cut.
well I have always liked the paper catalog, it's how I got most of the airguns I have owned.. not just pyramid air..
as far as the new catalog, it didn't get a second look, hardly no guns, I'm not interested in boss, 🪓 and bikes.. but probably others really like it

Who buys from catalogs? Go onto the website.. you can spend hours looking at stuff to buy.. I take it your an older gentleman that still writes checks, uses postal money orders and has a flip up jitterbug cell phone 😉😜😃
yes that's me exactly, well except for the flip phone.. now I have to call my daughter to find out how to work a phone that's apparently smarter than me 🤣🤣

I think pa and now air gun depot need to back off on the " spin the wheel, can i help you , times running out , speak to a expert ". Pop-up things .
yes but they are actually sister company.. I too noticed pyramid adding the stupid pop up spin the wheel.. one reason I don't bother checking air gun Depot

I miss the Victoria secret catalogs. The old style. Saw the new style, didn’t care for it.
Oh, gun related! I do miss getting Sinclair’s catalogs. Now those were the best. I swear it seemed they had everything they carried in their store in that catalog. Same with Brownells
I'm way out of date, but I miss spot on air and Air rifle specialist was the best.. Elmira NY

Ya, how they think it makes you want to buy when that stuff just makes me leave and look elsewhere . It just hampers my brows shopping / annoying. Im there to try to shop not fight off pop-ups..lol

Then the best is 90% of items are excluded from discounts ..🤤

This is all my fault!

At an airgun show decades ago the founder of Pyramyd AIR told me his goal was to build the largest airgun retail business in the world. Supressing a chuckle, I not only thought "good luck with that", but told him that.

Vengeance is one of the greatest motivators known to Man.
I think its looking to be a "marketplace" instead of a "air gun" shop ..

Maybe more to a sportsman's guide store (??)

Let's put it this way. If you bump into Pyramyd's founder at S.H.O.T. show and he tells you his goal is to put Cabela's/Bass Pro out of business...

Don't doubt him!

That was good thinking on their part instead of changing the name of the company to something like Pyramid Outdoors. I have no interest in the archery, ebikes and such but I'm one customer. They have plenty of others and can attract more. Josh Ungier started that company off small, selling only airguns and a few accessories but it has continued to grow and grow over the years.

did you get the email from pyramid air.. they apparently are rebranding and air isn't for air guns.. seems like they are now going the way of a big online sporting goods store.. what worries me is like Big 5 sporting goods store I guess it's not popular or political correct but last time I was in a Big 5 they not only discontinued regular firearms.. but even the small selection of air guns.. this post is not meant to be political but I just don't like seeing less places selling airguns and less selection.. fortunately we still have airguns of Arizona and airguns of Utah and the like.. I've been happy with airguns of Arizona and pyramid air, but I'm just worried about the trend?
not everyone knows about the specialty air gun stores, and so for some kids likely growing up, they might not be taught safety and shooting even the daisy red rider..
