Pyramyd Air - Order never shipped - UPDATED

Yet another negative experience with Pyramyd Air's shipping department. I ordered pellets on Monday and paid extra for it to arrive by today. The Fedex shipping status has been "label printed" but never picked up. I called customer service this morning and they couldn't care less. So they left me no other choice than to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Pretty sad. They used to be pretty awesome and my "go to" for ordering pellets.

UPDATE: After filing a dispute with PayPal I got a reply that PA offered to ship the pellets, to which I replied no thanks, I want a refund. To their credit, they immediately issued a refund. I didn't expect anything further to come of this, but on Wednesday I got an apology email from the head of customer service, to which I replied, "apology accepted" and that as far as I was concerned, the issue was over and no further action needed to be taken. But then yesterday I got another email that my order was being shipped at no charge! I didn't ask for free merchandise and, to be honest, I understand that mistakes happen and an apology was really better than most other companies will do. But to send my order to me at no charge (granted it was just pellets and not a new rifle) was really a very nice and totally unexpected measure. I was very favorably impressed.

I was hoping customer service would at least make an effort and check with their shipping department to find out where my package was and why it didn't leave the warehouse. But they couldn't be bothered and just said that if a label was printed, that meant it had shipped. I got the feeling that if I didn't dispute the order with my credit card, nothing would have ever happened and I'd never get my merchandise or my money. I've had issues with Pyramyd's customer service in years past (usually took 2 or 3 calls before they would do what they said they would do the first call) so it's always been a hit or miss situation there.

...Their spam email generation staff never seems to sleep though. I received 10 marketing emails from Pyramyd Air this week including five alone on Black Friday

LOL! I think that's pretty much how all businesses operate now-a-days... ;)

PA's customer service really dropped the ball on this one. All they had to do was to tell me they were going to check on my order and contact shipping. My order would arrive late but at least I'd know they were doing something about it. But instead, they brushed me aside forcing me to dispute the charge. I'll eventually get my money back and I've already ordered what I wanted from another vendor (and paid a little bit more) that has never let me down. But now they've taught be I can't count on them and will just choose not to order from them in the future.

I was waiting on ammo to be in stock in preparation for EBR ‘22. Finally saw them “in stock” I put in an order. Then I get an E-mail that says Order will ship out in like 3 weeks! Say What???? But I was good on time, so I waited. Nothing. Called & was told they didn’t have enough to fulfill the order. I had ordered Other stuff that was actually in stock, and they will not ship it all until it’s all there. So yeah, I feel ya….

Yep, they would rather piss off their customers than eat the 5 bucks it cost them to ship your pellets later. I'd like to think they would realize that costs them money when they lose you as a customer BUT they have plenty of us buying from them so they don't care.

Bottom line, they don't care.

couple of experiences with fedex never logging the tracking, but it shows up .. and over a holiday, seriously, i wouldnt be paying extra to get it quicker haha ..thats like wishful thinking ..
PA is literally a 5 hour drive from here, if they had in fact shipped it on Tuesday there isn't any reason I wouldn't get it by Friday. And yes, sometimes Fedex or UPS neglects to scan at the origin and it miraculously arrives anyways, but that's not the case here. I just got a message from PA and they admitted it never left the warehouse. I asked them for a refund (I've already ordered from someone else) but they now say it will ship on Monday. No offer to refund the extra I paid for expedited shipping. Thanks but no thanks.
