question about shipping airgun to Boston

i want by a air pistol at amazon.com, but amazon.com said could not ship to boston. 
Why walmart.com can ship. why?

 Naturally Amazon , com would be the only ones that could answer your question.

Some area's have changed for the better recently regarding airguns, maybe you can have the shipped but amazon hasn't caught up yet and talking with them ( after checking your local laws) might help get them going in your area. Nothing to loose asking them.

Or, have it shipped to an out of state relative, and have them reship it.

Kittery trading post wont ship to Massachusetts either
They insisted it was the law,so they lost that sale and future sales from me.
