I noticed on my new CS2 that the top fan blows towards the back, towards the on/off breaker switch and the bottom fan blows out the front in the opposite direction...is that correct....???
Thanks for your reply…..I just wanted to confirm that was the correct way it worked. That’s how mine works.
It depends on the date of mfg. Cylinder cooling designs have changed over the years.I have three CS2's and they are not consistent, so i'm guessing it doesn't matter much. My OCD side did point them all blowing in.
Yes, it matters. The cylinder itself has been revised over the years. Some have holes in the side, some have the bottom of the cylinder open. Others have intake holes from behind the cylinder head. Cs3 has changed as well over time.I'mguessing you mean a change was made when they went from oil to no oil in the crankcase?
I looked at every picture i could find online of the current dry sump compressors, even ones advertised for sale, and they were all over the place, but the majority were blowing in.
I'm wondering if it matters???
