Question concerning Desiccant Dryer Media

I am in the process of setting up my "NEW" air charging station. I am connecting up the piping/hoses and air components which includes a Wilkerson Desiccant dryer. I opened up the first bag of supplied desiccant media (DRP-85-059) Silica Gel thinking it was going to be "Blue" granules. To my surprise the Silica Gel is "Snow White". I thought that white granules was an indication of saturated or spent media. I checked the second "unopened" bag for any leaks but didn't see any problem. I opened it and it was also white in color. Anyone have any input on this? Is this Media OK to use or do I need to get a new charge?

With my experience with silica Gel beads is that they are white in color and have indicator beads peppered in. The indicator beads are blue in color and turn pink when they have absorbed their limit. Then the batch needs cooking again.
You should be able to get some blue color beads off ebay rather cheap to mix in with yours. As with no color change you would not have the indicators telling you the condition.
