Newbie on this site and I have a question for anyone that has owned a Remington Vantage 1200. I have this rifle in 177 with a UTG 3-9x40 scope for about 12 years, it has eliminated a fair number of starling. My new target is house sparrows invading my new purple martin house about 35yds from my garage door Is it reasonable to expect to consistently hit sparrows at 35 yards from a rest with this rifle setup? Usually I can only get a clear shot on about half the sparrows body. About half my shoots are either a clean miss or they end up hitting the martin house. Please let me know what you think my accuracy expectations should be. Can I blame the misses on the gun or is it me?
