Question from a old dummy

Bipod/monopod cannot be used on forced position (standing/kneeling) lanes.

From AAFTA rulebook:

Forced Shooting Positions
The range may be set up to require use of a forced position on
designated targets. A sign declaring a forced shooting position must
be used at a shooting lane. Regardless of any prescribed position,
the shooter may opt to shoot the target offhand (standing). Aids
such as straps, harnesses, monopods, shooting sticks, or bipods are
not allowed on forced position shots.

According to this, slings are allowed in standing positions.

Here's an idea. In Florida, if you are over 80 you can play from the Red Tees in Golf if you want to and not be too embarrassed . In order to retain the older guys in the sport that have a hard time of forced position shots lets do this. If over 72, you can use a monopod (bipod with both legs together) while standing on the standing lane and at the kneeling lane, which has a higher Troyer number, almost always, you can shoot in your class position allowed for the other lanes. If you are over 80, any position is allowed on any lane. This may allow some older guys some new desire to remain shooting instead of sitting home watching YouTube videos. Oh, did I mention that I'll be 80 in 12 days, not that I have a vested interest in seeing this happen, but I would not be against it. Mmmmmm
