Question of changing caliber for Leshiy 2

hi all,

I am a complete noob of air gun but I somehow got a Leshiy 2 (350mm, 0.3 caliber)

I tried to shoot it and it scared me because it is just too loud so I decided to change it to 0.22 caliber.

I did my homework and found this -

it looks like L2 with 0.3 caliber missing 2 pieces from 0.22 L2 caliber (the white one). I disassembled the valve and confirmed.
1. what happen if I just replace the power jets to 1.2 without buying the 2 white pieces and put them in the valve?
2. at the end, I need to buy: power jets, 0.22 barrel, magazine, silencer (Behemoth Reflex). do i miss anything? Thanks

Quite a gun for a noob, congrats!

First of all, do you have the original L2 with the inline regulator or the newer REPR version with the externally adjustable reg? The white parts (informally known as the dog bone & collar) will not fit the original L2, they were introduced in the revised valve that came with the REPR version. Strictly speaking, they're not absolutely needed, they're just there to reduce the internal volume behind the valve to slightly improve the efficiency with smaller calibers. But it will work just fine without them because the original version did. Tuning is slightly different for both, with these parts installed you will need higher reg pressure for the same velocity I think. Many guys end up removing these parts anyway as they start chasing higher power levels in .22.

so yeah, a new barrel, jets (I would get the whole set so you can experiment later on), magazines.

You might find that .22/350 with 2x1.2mm jets is sufficiently quiet for your purpose without having to shell out for the complete reflex Behemoth system. Try the stock shroud with the STO insert first.

There is a wealth of info in the long L2 thread, the challenge is finding it....
