Question of the Day/Week Which Gun Case Size, Safe do you prefer (pictures & Special AGN Coupon) UPDATED w/AGN Coupon

TopGun-Airguns.com just brought out a line of Storage Devices for Airguns, and Firearms for Rifle and Pistols in the form of Gun Cases, Personal Safes, and Commercial Safes. They can be found here: https://www.topgun-airguns.com/product-category/gun-storage/

We THINK (we try to THINK now and then) that the most popular sizes for rifles would be either of the 2 listed below. Both units are under $200 and have wheels, and TSA compatible.

Since there are over a dozen sizes of cases we carry, I am kindly requesting your assistance in determining which will be the most popular. By your replying here not only will you be helping us, but anyone who responds here will also get 10% off any unit. (shipping will be a flat fee of $29 for each unit). This is a limited time offer.

So, help a brother out and tell us which size you like, which airgun you would like to put in it (or already have to put in it) and get a 10% discount off the gun case. We'll even bundle with any airgun and save you even more!

IMO an Avenge-X classic which has an OAL of 43.75" would sit in the BL-Q1300, Long Rifle Case, synthetic polymer hardcase, military-grade quality. Overall dimension: 51.2″ x 16.5″ x 6.8″, internal dimension: 48.5″ x 14.1″ x 6.0″. This would give a small buffer between the stock and case, along with the barrel and case, should it be dropped on end. There's no need for heavy depth since this would be a single layer case. But the extra space within the case would be used for spare accessories such as magazines, moderators, extra cases of pellets, chronograph, cleaning/ disassembly tools, fill hoses, etc.

My Gauntlet G30 with moderator is about 56 inches long, with scope around 14" tall.

IMO...most of the cases today are pretty durable..the sizes you offer are very convenient!
Sometimes the quality is better on the latches and hardware, but what i find to be imprtant is the quality of the foam used inside the case.
I can say that i HATE any of the "Pluck n Pull" types of foam liners. As it ages, the foam will continue to rip apart and disintegrate.
I prefer a polyethylene foam to a polyurathane foam for a couple of reasons:
Polyethylene is a closed cell foam that does not retain moisture like polyurethane
Polyethylene is stiffer than polyurethane..better impact resistence
i find it easier to cut

I was wondering, what type of foam comes in these cases?
Mike

The cheapish case that came w my refurb Hatsan's are actually very nice.

In comparison to the Flambeau that I once paid $60 for & was disappointed in at the unboxing. To add insult to injury the gun inside was dinged up & the scope that I paid to have sighted in as part of the fxn pkg wasn't. It wouln't adj. for drop either. Had to convince cust support that I wasn't an idiot before I was able to return the scope & got some crappy points to use for my trouble

Rage mode off:

The large case, I'll always choose more storage.

The cases that are at least 51” internal length with the other dimensions of 16.5x13 are the ones I would be most interested in.

When I go shooting or camping I like to bring several guns with me. Very few of them are longer than 48”, but several are close to that and you still want a bit of padding at either end. Those cases with the 16.5x13 dimensions would allow me to pack 4 or more guns in a single case.

I’ve been using Harbor Freight Apache cases, lightweight Flambeau cases and for my milsurps I’ll often just put them in gun socks, lay them across the rear seat and throw a blanket on top.

The cases posted by the OP are very nice if I do say so.

I scored a mock Pelican case as part of a P1 purchase & definately wouldn't mind a big daddy sized hard case just like it. It's pricey & a bit more than is needed for most travels, but it's not like it has an expiration date on it if you ever do.

Show Magpul prices if you need to unblock someone's airway.

I notice the weight of the largest cases is around 30 pounds. With several guns inside all with large scopes you could easily exceed 100 pounds total weight.

I still want one though.
me too. I'm forever trying to streamline my life...would help.

The coffin sized one in particular. it'd stay in the back of the car.

I prefer 40" or shorter CUZ then it can fit in my trunk.

PS: i am absolutely NOT able to visit their site, with any links here or typing in the address myself, cloud flare throw a tantrum.
Are you having issues with my site? www.TopGun-Airguns.com ? IF so let me know what kind, and I'll ask my IT guy to fix it for you.
Tnx in advance.
