Thanks for the welcome. I contacted Matthew at Jsar. A very sharp young man. Conversation was such that I ordered a rogue raptor in 30 caliber. I believe Matthew has ironed out the past issues and is making a good rifle. Will report outcome when gun arrives. Suggested 6 weeks for delivery. I Hope shooters will get behind Jsar and help Matthew succeed

I'm honestly looking forward to your review, I've seen some of the normal BS reviews and darn little else. Matthew does have a quick, "hey I put this together, aimed it out the window and this is what happened" video. Then there was one of Shooter 1721 clipping off branches at an unknown distance. I've got the money burning a hole in my wallet.

hog - For sure I will report. Thanks for the video. Matt is a Cal Poly grad and a very smart guy. after taking to him I felt secure in ordering a raptor. I think he will provide a good gun. Only thing lacking in my view is a good marketing guy out front banging the drum !! Time will tell. Thanks again for video

Jsar rogue raptor arrived today. Hope to get some range time tomorrow. First blush this is a great looking rifle exactly what I was looking for. Matt said 6 weeks or sooner and he was very close to 6 weeks. Stay tuned

Got to the range this afternoon. Not great conditions 27 degrees and windy 15-18mph from the NW. limited to 50 yds. Cleaned barrel upon arrival and conditioned bore with 25 shots cleaning every 5. Sighted in scope and shot for group. .566 at 50 yds I think gun will be a shooter 44.75 grain JSB’s. I have not figured out to post pictures but hope to do so next week with warmer temps forecast for New Hampshire will spend more time at the range. Matt Hove is doing a fine job at JSAR!! If your looking for a new toy I think the Rogue Raptor will fill the need

I currently have an Fx impact m3 800mm tensioned barrel kit and I am wondering if it’s necessary to run a carbon fiber sleeve as well as the barrel tensioner?

I got mine in then it went back with a bad reg or something, been doing some adjusting, dropped the pressure a touch, adjusted the striker and hammer spring. With 33.95 JSB MkII at 940fps I've got a SD of 2.3, running 26gr RMR/FX Slugs they perk along at 1050ish and a SD of 2.3. I can get the pellets better than that BUT, I'm on the slug kick so we'll see, can't fine one that actually works except for the RMR/s. I've tried Patriots, JSB's Knockouts, Zans and a few others. THAT was part of the reason i gave the gun a super tune, it 'should' play better now, with slugs but won't know until tomorrow
