Skout Quick barrel question.

My Epoch arrives tomorrow, and it will be a case of fitting the ARCA rail some picattiny add-ons and scope to nip down the range for a testing session, but do I need to clean the barrel? Sure I would on any other rife, but given the unusual construction of the Skout barrels do they coat them with any anti corrosion that needs a clean or not?

Pending barrel it is being delivered with ? .... will dictate what if any clean or pre-clean regiment may be required.

A call to SKOUT on THIS INFO as to what barrel you will be receiving would cut threw the open forum opinions

Chances are it will arrive clean, or mostly clean, as they test shoot every gun before shipping.

I went ahead and picked up some Corbin cleaner as they suggest in the manual. They also suggest Starter fluid as a cleaner as well. Anyway, go easy on the barrel until you have more info from Skout.

Starter fluid, drys too fast and it is Not a good idea to use,people with that suggestion are ill advised.I say that because it can be a dangerous product for your head.
