I f it is like other FX guns from that era you gently/slowly unscrew the gauge until air starts to exit.
That's how I degas my Ranchero and Tarantula

That might be a little different to what I envisioned.
I assumed your gauge was on the bottom of the receiver
Do you have a parts list/schematic
