Quiet .22's

How does the quietness of the .22 wildcat compare to a .22 marauder. Or for that matter a .22 bobcat or edgun to a .22 marauder. I know I'll eventually want one of those and they all appear tremendously accurate, but I love the quietness of the .22 marauder and would only want a gun equal to or more silent than it. The .22 marauder is all I have to compare to and it is stock. If you have to alter one of the others ie longer shroud to make it as quiet as the .22 marauder please be specific. Thanks!

I have owned or own the following guns in .22 caliber:
Edgun Matador
FX Bobcat
FX Royale
Benjamin Marauder
FX Revolution
Daystate Wolverine
Daystate Air Wolf
Daystate Huntsman
FX Bobcat
FX Verminator
.
I have considerable experience with the following .22's:
SnowPeak P12
Kaliber Cricket
Daystate Air Ranger
.
The quietest STOCK rifle is by far the Daystate Wolverine. The factory-standard Huggett moderator is the difference. The Verminator was a close 2nd with the [included] moderator installed (this moderator is available for other FX models). After that, the Marauder. The ABSOLUTE quietest .22 I have ever experienced was an AZ tuned Rapid with custom shroud.

The quietest .22 I have owned, shot or been around at competitions is the FX Independence. It is so quiet as to be very noticeable below a Marauder, or for that fact any PCP, in my experience. I do not have anywhere near Ted's experience with the number and makes of different rifles and I will add the Independence is not for everyone, but if you are looking for quiet, this is the rifle.
