Quit Screwing Around: Lets see those SPRINGER GROUPS

Thanks! But I don't think they're great lol.. Those were shot scoped from a Caldwell bag. Still trying to keep my hold the same for each shot. I think I will try some heavier pellets. Thought the H&N 10.56's would do the trick but the 7.9 CHP's shot better, the 13.6 JSB's didn't shoot well.

From what I read shooting at 850 fps or so is best for accuracy. The 7.9's were chronied in the 1100's so maybe a heavier pellet will bring that down. I don't have a chrony those number came with the gun from PA.

Any advice on pellets would be welcomed. I'm already window shopping other guns but I want to give this one a fair shake.

I've not done much target shooting lately and only shot today at 21 yards. I don't shoot much anymore at the same spot but the bottom left bulleye is 11 shots same POA. And I was chasing the wind that was driving me crazy but not doing a very good job of it) Oh yea this was one of my FWB300s .177

Picked up a couple new pellets for testing. Rifle is my youngest son's FWB 300S Junior with factory diopter sights
Groups of five, shot at 10 meters, indoors off my red-neck bench. Chrony specs are H&N Finale Match light 7.87gr------557fps...11es 3sd
Definitely not a powerhouse, but in that 10 meter rifle sweet spot.
Videoed the JSB Exact Express and the H&N Diabolo Express. The other two were H&N Match Pistol(4.50 head) and H&N Finale Match Light.

My new favorite pellet for the FWB's

Trying out the TargetScan app. member Jonnes posted about to get CtC. Kind of a handy little program.

This is a Springer, so I will just drop it this thread. Hope I don't offend any Pirates out there.

This video is about testing accuracy of my new pellets with different air guns and a bit about eye safety. Lord knows I need eye protection with those red-neck backstops.

Double checked my records and it is shooting H&N Match Pistol 7.56gr 4.49mm at 441fps.

"JoeWayneRhea"Ok two pics to show ...First is from the target I used in a double vs. Single spring video .

This one is the result of a very fun day of shooting and one of the few nice groups I shot ...The old slow 10 meter rifles can make ya wanna pull your hair out when the winds blowing hard :)
Thanks Buddy. You know why I'm saying that. lol

That's some impressive 25 yard shooting with these 10M shooters.

Had nice shooting weather today in Rougemont, NC after a couple weeks of wind and cold so I went to my "out back" shooting lane to check out the holdover marks on my scope AO. Real comfortable weather with light consistent wind. LOL, normally the winds at my lane are variable and swirling but almost calm today. I shot my HW95 sitting on a bucket while resting the gun on cross sticks and was testing out my recently sized batch of die "B" cpls that had the heads reduced to 4.48mm and the batch was weighed so all pellets shot were between 8.00 and 8.04 grains.

When checking out the 30 yard zero I noticed that I was grouping really well so after shooting a few groups at intermediate distances I moved out to 50 yards and shot one of the best (or luckiest) 5 shot groups to date which was about 7/16"ctc. Here are a couple pics.........
