Quit Screwing Around: Lets see those SPRINGER GROUPS

Figured I'd get in on this one. I enjoy my two PCP's, a Gauntlet and a Daystate Wolverine "R" but I will never give up my springers. All in 177 cal.
I cut my teeth on them and learned how to tune them. This is the results using JSB Exacts 8.44 grain in both guns. No wind involved.
These are repeatable groups when the wind is turned off. They spread out a bit in the wind and when I am not "on" like I was today.

The wind has been quiet around here and that is when the groups shrink considerably. Here is one at 40 yards with my TX200 with a Vortek kit in it that has been slightly modified by me. Five shots with JSB Exacts 8.44 grain tuned to just over 12 FPE.

Welp, Joe, all these guys shooting these papers full of tiny little groups! ... I guess I am going to have to get out the girls and see if I can still shoot. It's time to start sharpening up the skill set for squirrel season anyway. I gave them a year off and they have over run the place. This winter GUMBO! 
Maybe this weekend I can shoot a target or two after I cut the grass. When I do I'll come back here to hang it.

Top two and bottom right groups are three different Theoben SLR98's, top left .177 carbine, two on right .22's, all three groups are 21 shots,(three mags each), all were shot sitting off knees at 25yards.(bottom right was PCP Theoben Rapid .020 , 12 shots ).

Continue to have problems uploading photos, SLR groups were around penny size, Sorry trying to resolve.

In hospital for 5 days and out now for nearly two weeks. Not supposed to but opened the gun safe grabbed the LGV and sent ten pellets on their way as I was developing a really bad case of plinkitis. A little bit uncomfortable across the operation site in the cocking process but I chose the LGV as it is the lightest to cock. Not bad imo for ten shots at 25 metres for a half inch hole.........and after not shooting for three weeks, happy days.

Hi everyone. I must say that some of those pictures are pretty intimidating.
This is from my new, & newly worked on, 1969 Father's Day Weihrauch 50.
This is all 25 yd. The top 2 & center are10 shot groups. The others are 5 shot sighting in. I guess I still need to do some work, the scope slides back about a quarter inch per 10 shot group.

I fired another five shots after my previous post. That makes 15 in this group, didn’t want to risk going any further in case I stuffed it up. My LGV is 22 cal so I wonder what this group would look like in 177? Probably show more paper between holes?
Crutcherro1 I don’t know if plinkitis is life threatening but my left pointy finger feels a lot better now.

Great shooting, everyone! You guys are lucky to still be living in the states where you can get any kind of pellet you want. Here, I have my choice of 1 brand of 6mm BB for my Snow Wolf. The govt. here limits airguns to .22; you can buy .22 pellets but the rifles are extremely hard to find. It's the Thai way of prohibiting people from having something without actually legally prohibiting it. Most pellet rifles are .177. Since the Snow Wolf is designated as plastic BBs only, it gets away with being 6mm or about .25cal (is that correct?) However, from the 2nd day I had it, it's been fed nothing but steel BBs. I posted a question about the life expectancy of a brass barrel with steel BBs, I'll wait and see what I learn. Meantime, I'll do some plinking tomorrow, and see if I can figure out how to upload the pic to show the group. Most of the targets I use now I made and printed, and they have an outline or image of a pigeon on them, some with a bullseye over their back (to make most use of the space on the paper). Phaedrus, I got that address from the bottom of your target, great find! I'll print some out tonight, and plink tomorrow. We'll see how my shooting is.

The first is Oldspooks 10 dimes challenge, 25 yards, FWB 300S, scoped. The second is the same rifle with factory peep sights, 25 yards, 5 shots.
