Far off i see good clear but arms reach reading smaller stuff +/- not so good.
But honestly the sad hw irons is hard to use even with perfect vision..lol. Black blade on black barrel blackpost in a dark cave of a globe that all of it emits glare/fuzz too boot...lol

R9 cphp.177 , stock irons zeroed for 100y shot at 30y

Just 6 inches of elevation difference.

Gave it another try but upped the bull to 4" from 3" sure seemed to have a though time holding a bead today , bit i guesd ill call this exceptable . Funny how i coud see and shoot that 3" tin before but took all i had to see that 4" today .. oh well it is what it is... R9 , stock irons , 100y, cphp .177

It dont take much to push weak .177 off

My 2ed attempt with a change in the weather . Then had to put up and cover up for rain.

Now going low left . But still ising that big ol bulls instead of the 2-1/2 or 3" normaly.. ill open a new tin of pellets and see lots of smalls / poor sizing in this one.. we'll see last thing i want to do is blame the guy shooting .🥴

I know you don't want to hear it. You'd get better accuracy if you gave up the cheap Walmart Crosman pellets.

Give that barrel a good bronze brushing and put a few hundred JSB 8.44s through it to properly reseason the barrel. You'll get few flyers and the ones you do get won't land so far away.

JSBs aren't perfect and can vary tin to tin and even a little bit within the tin. That said they're still ten times more consistent than the Crosman.

If you spend a little more than the JSB, you can get the AA rebrands. All the pellets in a tin are made by JSB from a single die so they're very consistent.

Another plus a you won't ever have to clean you barrel again if you stay with JSB and H&N pellets. The FTTs are worth a try, but I find the JSB stay tighter at longer ranges.

Ok who sells them local that i just walk in and buy what i need? No one here in a 100 miles .

Go ahead and set up 100 on irons and a 2-1/2 / 3" bull and show me the big difference. Dang what more do i need and to be honest i really did not see that big a gain in fancy expensive mail order pellets . Not like im shooting Mr Leggs universe national world extreme championship $1000000 purse and trophy with esteem and fame here in my yard . Im just kicking around killing some free time and posting just to post somthing to be more active in traditional gate. $6 , 500 count tin of easy to get all day pellets that pretty well puts them in pretty consistent .. ??? Its not like i dont see posts with all that "top" stuff and look at what i get and chuckle.

Is there better or worse ? Well ya. Is it worth it to me ? Not really. Good or bad i try to show and tell not just a lot of tell.

Dude it's your gun, your hobby, your money, do as you please. I was just trying to help after you commented on your undersized pellets. If your content with your results stay with them.

If you're willing to splurge and buy some pellets online your results will improve greatly. It's your money, your call don't shoot the messenger for trying to help you.

So them pellets gurentee that 100% . Are they magical? Theres never a bad pellet in any tin i ever buy of them ? One hole everytime or somthing like that ? Never pushed off from wind , improves my poor ol eyesight, makes my hold the dame each and everytime. Rekon i never seen a hn or jsb user sort size weigh any ..hmmm🤔

But ya, i shoot to my convenience not the guns.

Im not mad at what you say , but...lol.

Youd think id never shot any other pellet before ..lol. h&n aint gods gift to air gun shooting . But some reason folks think so .. kinda like guys gamo bash and clain its hw or nothing.. not made in getmany its nothing but trash. Helping one thing ,but... Your pushing them like a miracle pellet one hole everytime without even ytying or somthing. Like i said lets see your 100y open sight no peeps no optics. Talks cheap. Give me somthing to strive for or better myself ..

As far as shooting goes at the beginning of the thread I said I can't shoot open sights at 100 yards. So you are already doing better at that than I would with any pellet. Listen I wasn't looking a fight, I was only trying to help you do better.

My mistake.

Ya, your mistake.. in that one way thinking that just because a guy shoots h&n or whatever magically transform him iinto better .. you cant say that any one pellets are going to do better . Heck mayb worse in this gun . Maybe over at gta german gate you can blow that smoke to whoever just not me. And its not like im in pristine indoor conditions. This is seabrezze thunderstorm swriling wind like 8-15 mph left right then tail then right left then head back to tail to left right non stop

So unless them h&n or whatever ate not affected theres no way there going to do better no ****ing way. There not magical as you seem to beleave. The difference in cphp and the h&n here is just marginal at best so why do i eant to mail order and spend way more for just marginal results ? Like i yry to explain im not here shooting for cadh , trophies, or prizes.. just popping at tin lids for fun. ... Maybe you can't comprehend that ? It's just shooting and posting for fun not my best bit by gar not my worse just sharing my fun for the day..
