If no one mentioned it yet, I've seen the Benjamin Maximus 177 take a white tail wabbit down at 48yds. For the price had me put it on my wish list as well. Many talks on here giving the Maximus props as well.

i still can't get 22s here. there always sold out. long rifle, and shorts. I got a .22 titan np that came with a cheap centerpoint scope. it seems to have held up well so far. 120$ after tax with a 20% coupon at a local sporting goods store. shoots a 14.3g pellet at about 680 fps. and plenty accurate enough to take one at 40yds
