rail covers

anyone use them? can you put your scope over them? or do they only cover the area not being used ,thanks HYNZIE 4s

They cover the area not being used. I think they are more for looks, for most of us, than anything else. 

Edit;

Although if you had sharp edges on your rail they would keep you from getting cuts and scrapes.
