Range finder

I just ordered a Nikon Forestry Pro II. Accurate to +- a foot. 8yd to 1000yd.

I’m with ohiochuck in its best to test them at your local bass pro or Sportsmans warehouse.

I found that certain models I could not get a distance reading on the media, in other words the Bushnell I was looking thru could not read the hide off of a taxidermy’d boar, while the Nikon could. I can’t remember which model wouldn’t reflect back off of ceiling tile either.

I am a golfer/airgunner and I have a Leupold golf laser rangefinder with slope that doubles as a airgun rangefinder...was purchased used off of ebay, originally 300, purchased for 80. Any laser rangefinder's should suffice, just get ine with slope/elevation if you hunt squirrels/critters in trees or elevation.

I use a Sig Sauer Kilo 1600 and I'm very happy with it. It's accurate and the red display is very easy to see in all lighting conditions.
