I have an old Nikon range finder, supposed to be good to 660, I can’t even get 300 out of it, any recommendations on the current good ones?

I have had a Vortex Viper for a few years now. It has been flawless and goes out to 1300 yds with a lifetime warranty. Vortex makes good on the warranty.
