Rangemaster pellet experience for Revere .22 and RAW rifles?

I am curious to know if anyone has any user experiences using the Rangemaster pellets for Daystate Revere .22 and also RAW .177 and .22 calibers. I.e., quality of pellets, accuracy vs. JSB or others, and any other observations are appreciated.

AoA has them listed on their web site, but the 18g Sovereign were very expensive. I am thinking of giving them a try.

AoA has a range of weights and calibers for the various Rangemaster categories.

I have attached a picture from the Daystate owner’s guide for reference.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Zack.

I just bought two tins each of the Sovereign Hunter 18.1 g and the 15.89 .22 caliber pellets from AoA. I got sticker shock on the price, but nobody else carries them in the U.S. that I am aware of anyway.

We'll see how they do.
You're welcome!

It's a bummer that there are no other Daystate dealers in the US. However, AoA is typically pretty good about packaging pellets (although not as good as Trenier).

I hope you like the pellets and that they arrive safely! If you do like them, you may want to stock up, as I have found them to go in and out of stock for fairly long periods of time.

I’ll post some results when I get a chance. Thanks.

I was out yesterday, and had time today to snap some pics.

I shot both the 15.89 and 18.1g Rangemaster pellets, on a cold windy day. Not a great day to do some testing, as I like to see best possible conditions for 30-50 yard target practice especially with 'new to me' pellets. This was group testing, so no skill was involved. I just wanted to see how they would do.

Setup:

Huntsman Daystate Revere .22
Sightron 36X fixed Slll 2FP scope
Benchrest: Rear Protektor bag and Accu-Tac Bipod at front
Very solid bench

I did a lot of chrony runs with the FX Radar Pocket Chrony, but I will just show a couple of strings. NET: The 15.89 shot better at 40Y than the 18.1, which is my 'go to pellet' for the Revere anyway. I do want to try this again on a light wind day, but I can't really say that the Rangemasters are better than the JSB just yet.

I have had the FX Radar for about 3 years nearly, and for whatever reason, I did not know that my iPhone placement near the muzzle where I hang my rubberband FX radar on the moderator, was important.

In the past, I have had missed shots and have had to slide the rubber band bracket back and forth at times, because it would not record. I tried moving my iPhone right next to the Chrony, and I had about a dozen good shot strings with NO Misses.

Anyway, live and learn. :)

Tom
