Rat Down!

Went to the Dairy today, shot two pigeons one at 30 yards and another at 94 yards, missed two at 50 yards. I clearly saw the JSB 18s sail to the right of my intended targets, it was sporadically windy. Nailed half a dozen sparrows at 40-50 yards. They have loads of sparrows and they are smart, wily bastages. The rat was shot at 40 yards, I was aiming for his head but he moved forward and caught it in the spine, DRT. Though it was a brief visit it was fun. I need a bottle gun so I can set up on those sparrows and punish them.

Luis, excellent shot on that rattus and all the pest birds! With that many pests to shoot, a bottle gun would be appropriate....tough to not use these Compatto’s as they are so compact, accurate with good power but wish they had a cf bottle attached at times for more shots. For myself, I was thinking of maybe finding a tuner to add a drop down cf bottle and shortening the front stock to accommodate, then add a Huma reg. after the warranty expires.
